We have some exciting changes to the Drummoyne Devils Junior Development Program.......
Let us introduce you to "The Water Polo School" who will be running the program in Term 4, 2024 and Term 1, 2025. "The Water Polo School" is operated by Paula Woolley, who is well known around water polo, having run similar programs on the Northern Beaches for many years and worked at Water Polo NSW for several years running their Events and Competitions and is now working at Water Polo Australia in the Competitions team.
Paula and her team have great knowledge and experience putting these programs together.

Friday Night Games -
If you are not already a member of Drummoyne Water Polo Club, please register as a Flippaball Member to be eligible to play in the Local Friday Night Games... The cost is around $30... Below is the link directly to the registration page... Please select the "Flippaball" payment class
Once your registration has been finalised, you will receive a username and password reset email... Please keep these records safe, as you will need these details to log on and register for the Events you would like to attend.
If you are already a member of the Drummoyne Water Polo Club, you just need to complete your registration for the Friday Night Games event...
Friday Night Games - Term 1, 2025 - 7th February thru to 4th April 2025
Games will run from 5pm to 7pm (subject to change) in the deep-end of the pool. The pool will be divided into two fields of play.
- Teams will consist of a maximum of 9 players
- Only 3 Metro players allowed per team
- 6 players (5 field + GK) in the water at any one time
- All players must be competent swimmers in deep water
- Teams can be made up of Boys, Girls or Mixed Gender
- You can make up your own team, or we will make up the teams
Ideally we would like the games to be run in age groups... Born 2011, 2012 & 2013 (experienced) and then Born 2013, 2014 & 2015 (must be able to swim competently). However this is dependent on the number of teams and players that register.
All levels of experience are welcome, beginners through to Metro. Players outside these age groups who are wishing to play, can reach out via email to submit an exemption request to play.
- For Friday Night Games in Term 1, 2025 we have been extremely fortunate to have received a grant to assist with our Grassroots and Development programs, which has enabled us to reduce the entry fees. Conditions Apply.
- The normal cost for you to play for Term 1, 2025 is $135.00 for the 9 week term, however the fees will be reduced to $90 per player if you do the following:-
- Register as a Member of Drummoyne Water Polo Club, if you have not already done so.
- Register and pay to attend the Friday Night Games in Term 1, 2025
- During this process nominate your "Friend" who also wishes to play... MUST BE A NEW PLAYER TO THE JDP PROGRAM

- Register and pay to attend the Friday Night Games in Term 1, 2025
- You and your friend both receive the discount

- Members are to pay the full amount and once the Club Committee completes the registration checks of the nominated players the Members will be refunded the discounted fee.

- Registrations are to be completed by 20th January 2025. The discount will not apply after this date
In addition, players and spectators are required to pay pool entry into the Drummoyne Swimming Pool. We suggest that a 10 week pass be purchased.

All players are to register individually and separately... siblings cannot register at the one time...
Flippaball and Skills Training - will be hosted in the shallow end of the pool from 6:30pm to 7:30pm (TBC). This session is ideal for the younger age group and beginners.. We encourage Boys and Girls who are Beginners to Water Polo and Born 2015 and younger to start their water polo journey in this session.

- The normal cost for you to participate in Term 1, 2025 Flippaball and/or Skills Training is $180.00 for the 9 week term, however the fees will be reduced to $126 per player if you do the following:-
- Register as a Member of Drummoyne Water Polo Club, if you have not already done so.
- Register and pay to attend the Friday Night Games in Term 1, 2025
- During this process nominate your "Friend" who also wishes to play... MUST BE A NEW PLAYER TO THE JDP PROGRAM
